KOFFE AND PROTEJE BROUGHT THE “REGGAE SOUL” TO SOLE DXB

Shaping the culture with a difference at the Sole DXB festival

recently held in Emirate of Dubai showcased Urban lifestyle festivals mixing music, sport, retail, and culture; and this year, a special focus was on Jamaica and its arts scene.

Jamaican music icon Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry and his band Subatomic Sound System, in dialogue with Max Glazer of Federation Sound and Chromatic Live were among the sound systems.

New and upcoming Grammy-nominated artiste Koffee gave a superb performance as the crowd was greatly receptive to her songs on night two. New wave reggae Artiste Protoje didn’t disappoint with an intriguing performance as well as he took the following night by a storm.

Puma collaborated artiste Sevanna and Lila Ike made an appearance at the after-party events held by the festival. The culture and it’s native represented well and even adopted newfound cultural lovers.
