Chronixx and Koffee kicks of U.K tour this weekend in Birmingham


The Grammy-nominated reggae star will be performing at Arena Birmingham on Sunday, November 10, 2019.

Chronixx, real name Jamar Rolando McNaughton Jr, is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall musician from St. Catherine.

Starting his music career in 2003, he released his debut EP, ‘Hooked on Chronixx’, in 2011, followed by a mixtape, ‘Start a Fire’, with Major Lazer and Walshy Fire, and a second EP, ‘Dread & Terrible’, in 2014. He released a second mixtape, ‘Roots & Chalice’, in 2016, with Federation Sound. He released his debut album, ‘Chronology’, in spring 2017, via Soul Circle Music.

He has headlined his own shows and tours across the UK, including a show as part of the Somerset House Summer Series and an appearance at the Glastonbury Festival.

Jamaican reggae and dancehall artist Chronixx headlined the legendary Alexandra Palace in November 2018, and now has more UK dates panned in summer 2019.

His performance in Birmingham will see him joined on the stage by 19-year-old Koffee, who released her debut album, Rapture, in 2018.
